School Promotion Policy 2026-27

Promotion Criteria

The promotion of a student to the next higher class is based on their overall performance throughout the academic year. The following criteria must be fulfilled for promotion:

Class Group	Minimum Passing Marks	Assessment Criteria
Primary (I - V)	33% in aggregate	Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE)
Middle (VI - VIII)	33% in each subject	Periodic Tests + Term Exams
Secondary (IX - X)	33% in theory & internal	CBSE Board Pattern Assessments

Important Regulations

• Attendance of minimum 75% is mandatory for promotion to the next grade.
• Students failing to clear the minimum pass percentage in two or more major subjects will be required to appear for a re-examination.
• The decision of the Academic Committee regarding promotion is final and binding.
• Medical certificates must be submitted within 3 days of absence for any evaluation component.
